Wake County Medical Society is an organization established in order to enable physicians and other friends of the profession to support projects vitally affecting scientific medicine and public health.
We have a number of service programs in place to support our endeavors to better the health of our community:
- Project Access of Wake County
- CapitalCare Collaborative
- Community Care of Wake and Johnston Counties
While these are our current service programs Wake County Medical Society has supported the community in varying ways in the past. Many of these past programs and pilot projects were created in support of area children with physical, emotional and mental health challenges. Our past programs include:
- Su Hogar Medico
- Project Access for Children
- CAP-C Program for Medically Fragile Children
- Children's Access Program
- Early Childhood Development
It is our hope to have a positive impact on the community and our past has shown what amazing accomplishments can come from the dedicated work of professionals with passion.
