About WCMS Service Programs

The Wake County Medical Society was chartered by the North Carolina Medical Society in 1903. Wake County Medical Society Community Health Foundation is an IRS 501 C3 Corporation established to enable physicians and other friends of the profession to support projects vitally affecting scientific medicine and public health.

Mission Statement

To serve and represent the interests of our physicians; to promote the health of all people in Wake County; and to uphold the highest ethical practice of medicine.
